Sinds 1985, wat voor sommige mensen lang geleden lijkt en voor anderen als gisteren, eerst in Amsterdam Zuid-Oost en Castricum, daarna in Utrecht, Delft, De Bilt, Haarlem en nu voorlopig in het stadje Woerden, dat in 2022 650 jaar stadsrechten vierde en van buurstad Gouda 650 stroopwafels cadeau kreeg.
